In June 2019, the Flexyteam Start-up from Koper launched the first Slovenian specialized mobile application for a job search in the tourism and hospitality industry.

The mobile application, which can be downloaded for free using Google Play in the App Store, is designed for all people who are in search of work, from schoolchildren to retired persons. The application contains information about vacancies and important events in the tourism and hospitality industry to quickly contact a prospective employer via chat. To use all features of the application (receive access to the database of employers), users need to make a payment, after which they will have access to all options.
The application covers over 400 professions and specializations in 9 areas of activity – cooking, hotel business, restaurant business, resorts and wellness, gambling, congress tourism, trade and management, support services, and consulting. It provides the necessary information in a simple and visual way.
According to the latest data from the Employment Service, over five thousand vacancies have been recently opened in the tourism and hospitality industry. The most requested professions are a waiter (2,289 vacancies) and a cook (1,315 vacancies).
