BOVEC — As soon as the first foreign guests were successfully accommodated in newly designed light rooms, the Garni Hotel was solemnly introduced to the wide public in a small town of Bovec in the North-West of Slovenia. An entrepreneur from the Czech Republic Jaroslav Rygl is a lucky owner of the new Garni Hotel. In August 2015, the Municipality of Bovec sold the housing, badly damaged during the 1998 earthquake, for hotel construction to Rygl. Just for two years, the entrepreneur managed to renovate the building and breathe a new life into it. According to Jaroslav Rygl, the hotel now has eleven apartments and can accommodate 48 guests. Each room is equipped with a kitchenette, while the Hotel also offers services of breakfast, sports activities and tourist trips. Besides, Garni Hotel, Bovec is also awaiting for the opening of one more well-known hotel—the renovated Kanin Hotel, the launching of which is scheduled for the middle of 2018.
