Maribor — The Slovenian Environment Agency has recently issued the new report on the quality of Slovenia’s bathing waters in 2016. The data shows that all locations around the Slovenian coastline are absolutely safe for swimming. The seawaters tested by the Agency proved to be of excellent quality. This information is of special value if to take into account that the new summer season of 2017 is right around the corner. Once again, the European Commission confirms that the seawaters of Slovenia are of perfect quality without exception. This tendency has been unchangeable since 2010 and has never dropped down the mark “excellent”. This year, the salt-water samples are free of Escherichia coli bacteria and intestinal enterococci as usual.
