Statistics Service: Slovenian Export Continues Growing

Slovenia’s goods exchanges rate continues growing. The export operations from January to May 2019 amounted to 14 billion euros, which is 10.3% more than in the same period of 2018. Import reached 14.06 billion euros having increased by 12.6%. Slovenia has a surplus in foreign currency in four of the first five months of 2019, with the exception of April. This is reported by the Statistics Service, which published the latest data on 10 July 2019.

The export to import ratio in May reached 104.6%. The country’s surplus amounted to 128.49 million euros. This is the largest monthly surplus in the first five months of 2019 and the largest of the three May surpluses that have occurred since 2010.
