The Akrapovič Company, a manufacturer of exhaust systems from Črnomelj, has recently opened 20 to 30 vacancies for skilled workers. However, it seems that finding professional candidates that would match the desired profile has become a real challenge for the Company’s HR department. The manufacturer from Črnomelj currently has 750 employees, but the plant still needs to hire another 30 welders. Therefore, the management of the Company now promises an award of 250 euros for each employee who can help in recruiting professional welders and other skilled workers. It should as well be noted that the welder’s gross entry-level salary at the Akrapovič Company in Črnomelj makes 1,100 euros. Besides Slovenia, the Company also considers workers from Croatia.
