The Silk Road is considered the foundation of the contemporary globalization process in economy. Globalization is called to answer a great deal of questions starting from shaping the world’s first civilization and ending with growth in trade rates and startuping. According to the world’s leading experts, the way of globalization in Slovenia involves three main sectors: social, economic and environmental. Social globalization is based on the process of informatization and digitalization with the share of online buyers that keeps growing on an annual basis. Economic globalization in Slovenia features a number of significant achievement. For example, four out of ten Slovenes are currently working in the companies controlled by foreign owners. One more success of economic globalization involves fast development of transportation services and facilities. The environmental globalization places the reduction of ecological impact as the major objective of the European Union.
