LJUBLJANA — On Wednesday, 14 June 2017, a delegation of the Automotive Industry Association of Turkey (OIB) paid an official visit to Slovenia. Even though the bilateral cooperation between the countries in automotive sector enumerates an impressive amount of commercial deals and transactions, business representatives from both sides seek for even stronger interaction. Ali Ihsan Yesilova, a member of the OIB Management Board, in his communication with Slovenian businesspersons at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS), emphasized that both countries still have enough space for expanding zones of cooperation. The last year’s turnover within the car industry accounted for 732 million euros out of 1.2 billion euros of total trade volume between Slovenia and Turkey.
