Ningbo — On Thursday, 18 May 2017, the Slovenia’s Minister of Agriculture Dejan Židan during a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Han Changfu emphasized that the consistent cooperation between Slovenia and China had already yielded a number of noticeable results. Thus, an 80% growth in exports to China in 2016 can be named as one of the major achievements of the Slovenia’s Government. Besides, Židan mentioned the 12th Agro-Trade and Economic Cooperation Forum to be held in Slovenia in 2017 as one of the country’s most significant events of the year. Among other major achievements, the Minister also mentioned the opening of a joint venture production plant by Slovenia’s Elaphe Company and its business partner Zheijang Asia-Pacific Mechanical & Electronic as well as the signing of a memorandum of understanding on food product control.
