All hotels located in Portorož are happy with the summer season. The seaside resort of Slovenia is packed with visitors who have occupied all available rooms to the brim. The Hoteli Bernardin and Hoteli LifeClass hotel operators have registered a significant growth in the number of visitors as compared to the last year’s season. Hoteli Bernardin have been brimmed since July. The number of hotel guests has grown by 3–4% if compared to 2016. The operator expects the hotels to be fully occupied until the end of the month. According to the Hoteli Bernardin’s official data, 70% of its guests come from abroad, mostly from Italy, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. The number of travellers arriving from Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic has also grown as compared to the last years. The Hoteli LifClass hotel operator also expresses his satisfaction with the summer season results. The number of the visitors grew by 20% during the first seven months of 2017 if compared to the same months in 2016. Meanwhile, the number of visitors coming from other regions of Slovenia rose by 48% during the same period.
