Ljubljana — The leading tourist guide book publisher Lonely Planet placed Bled, one of the most beautiful lakeside resorts in Slovenia, among the Top-10 Instagram destinations for winter holidays. The Lonely Planet’s list of the most popular winter destinations on Instagram was compiled according to the estimations provided by Focus Clinics. The first position in the ranking is taken by the Swiss capital of Bern. According to the Lonely Planet calculations, its #Bern hashtag was used for more than a million times. The US ski resort Aspen takes the second place with more than 930,000 mentions. The third place went to the northern lights over Norway. They are followed by France’s Chamonix, the Yosemite National Park in the US, the Swiss Zermatt, US’s Yellowstone National Park, Bled, the Czech town of Česky Krumlov, and Grindelwald in Switzerland. The #Bled hashtag was used 306,285 times on Instagram.
