New 4-Star Hotel Opens in Izola

Last week in Izola, a new 4-star hotel was opened, which was named Hotel Cliff due to its unique location above the coastal cliffs.

The new hotel belongs to the Belvedere hoteli in turizem Company and consists of 16 deluxe rooms, suites and apartments. The project budget amounted to about 2.6 million euros.

The hotel rooms have wide balconies and terraces overlooking the picturesque Gulf of Trieste (Slovene: Tržaški zaliv). On the ground floor of the building, there is a modern lobby, which is easier to follow the needs of guests, while the facade of the reception desk is decorated with a fret sculpture by the France Prešeren Award winner Mirko Bratuša.

In addition, Hotel Cliff has a direct connection with the Restaurant Kamin, which starts a new culinary story with the motto “Cuisine with a View” with a glazed corridor, suitable for cocktail parties and other occasions. The restaurant also boasts a new team of renowned chefs led by Jernej Podpečan.

As the leaders of the Belvedere hoteli in turizem Company state, they hired 8 people to work in the new hotel, restaurant and kitchen. The hotel, which was opened for guests in early June, has been fully occupied since the beginning, and the demand keeps growing.

The Beauty & Spa Centre is an important additional infrastructure facility, which will open its doors in autumn. For the hotel guests and other visitors, it will offer various types of saunas, a small swimming pool, a separate room with sauna and Jacuzzi, massage and a variety of beauty programmes.
