The Annual Quality Congress has been organized by the European Organization for Quality (EOQ) since 1956. The 61st congress in a raw will take place in Bled on 11th and 12th October. The EOQ, the Slovenian Association for Quality and Excellence (SZKO) and the International Academy for Quality (IAQ) will join their efforts in arranging the EOQ Congress 2017 events. The IAQ Quality Forum will be held at the same place on 13th October 2017 as a continuation of the Congress programme. The participants of this year’s Congress will discourse upon the quality issues is a key driver to success in the digital era and try to answer the question on how quality drives efficiency in organizations. The main themes of the coming congress will include as follows:

- From Quality to Excellence – Models of Excellence,
- Transformation and Change Management,
- Competencies Required for Managing Quality and Quality of Management in the Digital Era,

The organizational committee of the Congress invites everyone to participate in the event and expand international network by communicating with the world’s most successful business executives, presidents and general managers. Special guests of this year’s Congress will be the members of a delegation from China, including the leaders of China’s corporations and Mrs. Dong Mingzhu, who is considered to be one of the China’s most influential businesswomen leading the 22 billion US dollars air-conditioning company Gree Electric Appliances, Inc.
