Maribor — Günther Apfalter, the President of Magna Europe, has stated in his interview to Večer that Hoče, which is located near Maribor, is still considered as the main option for building the announced paint shop of the automotive manufacturer. The first phase of construction will involve about 400 new work places with a prospect for another 800 jobs that will be available after finalizing the first stage. Apfalter also mentions that his Company will comply with all the required environmental regulations and meet the European and Slovenian standards established in this field. He hopes that this will answer all questions that local residents and non-governmental organisations may have and make the construction process safe and transparent.
