According to the results of 2018, the inflow of direct foreign investments of Slovenian companies in Montenegro amounted to 13.08 million euros. The Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, citing Dragica Sekulić, notes that the MOS Fair is the confirmation of many years of successful cooperation between Montenegro and Slovenia, primarily in business. For several years Montenegro has been a partner country of this event, which annually gathers over 1,500 exhibitors from more than 30 countries of the world and attracts over 100 thousand visitors.

It should be noted that since Montenegro gained its independence, Slovenian companies have considered this country as a direction favourable for expanding entrepreneurial activity. In addition to the invested capital, they also bring technology, positive business experience, know-how and European business practices to Montenegro. Long-term cooperation between Slovenia and Montenegro is carried out through assistance in finding partners for Montenegro companies, filing applications for participation in EU fund projects, promoting Montenegro companies, conducting international bilateral business meetings, as well as exchanging information and experience in the field of internationalization.
