On 11 July, a new production and logistics facility opens in Prebold that will increase the company’s revenues by 40% (from 122 million euros to 172 million) and will provide 400 new work places by the end of the year. The budget of the Prebold project made 23 million euros.
Odelo specializes in manufacturing premium automotive lighting (rear position lights, stoplights, turn lights). The area of working premises at the facility will be 10,000 square metres, which will expand production capacity.
Odelo Slovenija, which employs 1,300 people, successfully works with such large customers as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, etc. In August 2016, the company opened a new workshop in Črešnjevci. Since 2011, Odelo Slovenija has invested more than 90 million euros in the development and modernization of production.
Demand for the company’s products stimulates generation of new work places. Odelo requires many technical workers: process engineers, toolmakers, mechanical engineers and machine engineers, equipment maintenance and repair workers, and electrical engineers.
The possibility of employment in Slovenia is granted to students of the last year of studies and graduates. The company also invites specialists without work experience who want to work in the commercial field. In addition, Odelo plans to sign a long-term labour contract with a toolmaker. For this vacancy, candidates with 2 years of work experience will be considered.
